Jets WR Keelan Cole became the team’s newest player to make it onto the COVID-19 list.

He was placed on the reserve list on Tuesday, a day after QB Joe Flacco was activated off the list. Robert Saleh also said WR Denzel Mims should be back this week after being placed on the reserve list on Nov. 9.

QB Mike White is still on the list.

Cole has 19 receptions for 299 yards in 10 games this season, his first with the Jets.

New York also made some practice squad protections: DE Ronnie Blair, RB Austin Walter and K Alex Kessman. Blair took his first layoff since 2019 in Gang Green’s Week 12 win over the Texans, as Walter came out of nowhere to score his first career touchdown. Kessman, meanwhile, could be looking at an opportunity after Matt Ammendola’s recent struggles.

The Jets also worked out WR Tarik Black on Tuesday.
