A round of $1,400 stimulus checks looks imminent.
The Senate passed a $1.9 trillion Covid emergency plan this weekend. The bill is expected to pass the House on Tuesday and be signed by President Joe Biden before the end of the week.
According to Garrett Watson, senior policy analyst at the Tax Foundation, direct payments will be subject to new income requirements, but will also bring larger payouts for some dependents.
